Adaptive speed and separation monitoring based on safety zone switching
SHORT SUMMARY
This TestBed provides immersive XR/VR training scenes and includes an automotive cooperative assembly cell focusing on adaptive speed and separation monitoring through safety zone switching. The scene support learning-by-doing via identification, process and problem-solving educational use cases (e.g., introducing cell elements, exploring safety zones, teaching robot points and visualising zone switching, violating zones safely in VR, and resetting or reconfiguring the workspace). The TestBed is relevant to Industry 5.0 because it supports human-centric cobotics, safe collaboration in shared workspaces, and rapid experimentation with workstation configurations without physical downtime or safety risk.
